PARENT'S SECTION -FRIDAY NOTICES  

CENTURY HOUSE MONTESSORI     SCHOOL, BVI

SUMMER BREAK

The Faculty and Staff of CHMS, BVI wish every one a happy and safe summer break.   

For returning students school starts again on 1^st September and new students the following week on 6^th September.  Please cast a watchful eye over the school campus if you are passing and report any disturbances to the Cane Garden Bay Police Station. 

THANK YOU

Sincere thanks to everyone who helped with the classroom move today.  All the parental and children’s support has helped make this job much easier for the teachers. The faculty and staff will be in school on Monday – Wednesday if you were unable to help today but would like to offer some time next week.  Please call the school first to find the best time to help. 

SCHOOL UNIFORMS

Starting in September all uniforms, t shirts, hats and bags will be for sale from the school office for $20.00. 

RECEPTION FOR MISS CHANTELLE

There will be a reception party for Casa 2 parents to welcome Miss Chantelle towards the end of August 2010.  This will take place at Mrs. Morgan’s house.  More information to follow. 

FLAGS

If you are travelling during the summer months please collect a flag/map for your child’s classroom.  Other useful items are flag books for all the classes, cheap pencils, both regular and coloured, erasers, sharpeners, crayons and poetry books. 

AFTER SCHOOL CARE

Starting in October 2010 CHMS, BVI hopes to offer after school care classes including drama, sewing and yoga.  The cost will be $60.00 per term and the class sizes will be limited to 10 children per session.   

CONTACT DURING SUMMER BREAK

If you should need to contact the school during the summer break please email principalmorgan@surfbvi.com or montessoribvi@surfbvi.com  We cannot promise a prompt response as the office will be closed.  However Mrs. Morgan will be periodically checking emails. 

CRECHE CLEAN UP

There is a clean up at the Crèche tomorrow between 10.00 – 1.00pm.  If you have an hour to spare it would be gratefully appreciated.

HORIZONS INTERNATIONAL TUTORING & PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT   anyone interested in private tutoring please contact Ms Cathy at 284 495 0528, 442 1926, 545 3800.  Private tutoring takes place on the grounds of CHMS, BVI after school.
